Signed up for gigabit 1 year ago, still poor speeds
So I have even changed my router, twice and still getting at most around 550mbps on a good day.
I have a motorola MB8600 modem.
I have a Netgear nighthawk R9000 and also a synology RT2600AC.
Connecting directly to the modem the laptop and desktop still all combinations report around the same value, maybe a few mbps more when directly connected to the modem.
Does this information from the modem look good?

I'm also seeing this too in the event logs:

Thoughts? Maybe on a good day late in the evening, i get around 570mbps. I think after 1 year, i'd get around 800mbps at least.
wired connection directly to the router. CAT6e and CAT7 cables (tried them both)
using a 1GB NIC but also a 10Gb NIC and same issue.

So, i am not referring to DOCSIS 3.1 modem but from the comcast perspective, what equipment is used to enable the 1gbps speed?
If living in an apartment complex specifically, what wiring for a unit needs to be put in place or equipment? I am trying to figure out for 1 year, why I am not able to get the speeds. They claim that everything is enabled but I am yet to even get 550Mbps +
I think being billed for it for 1 year is silly and wasting my money frankly and not getting the service I paid for.
All I see is just a splitter in the cabinet/unit for cable (behind a utility room) but is that all that's needed?

yes to both. I even have a 10Gbps NIC and same issue.
I understand about the priority but it's been 1 year so it's a priority in addition to the fact that I WFH and work in the IT sector for a large major world corp. I know the pandemic is a big concern, I do, but would be nice just to talk to a tech but the virtual agent won't let me.
in such a case, bills should not be generated either.... which ultimately pays for their salaries and services.

Engineer came and used the famous XMT device. Showing 970Mbps. I don't trust that device at all.
Why do I not get even close to that speed then? I would expect about 750 ish. It cannot be said that it's a problem with the computer because it happens on 1 computer and 2 different laptops with the same issue.
He couldn't figure it out, but I appreciate his time. Even he was stumped.
