Second IP Arris Modem SB8200
Hello,
From other posts, I have seen that it may be possible to get a 2nd IP address in my area for an SB8200 modem with two ports.
Is there an Xfinity team member I can speak to privately about this matter?
Thanks.

First, check the "Rate Card" for your local area to see if that feature is even available anymore. Seems that it is being phased out;
https://www.xfinity.com/support/rate-card/
It's a PDF.
Scroll down to "Xfinity Internet" and look for "Additional IP Addresses".
If nothing is listed then it's likely to have been discontinued in your local market area.

They are phasing it out but I'm going to escalate your issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. We've seen cases here where they have been able to get this accomplished for customers even when it is not listed in their rate cards, YMMV. You should get a reply here in your topic. Good luck !

Thank you for that.
I'm aware of that part (and it's not on my card), but I was reading around the Forums here, and people have had experiences of the additional IPs being available (and were able to get with help of staff here) even though they were not listed on the rate card.

Thank you.
When Comcast says 'phasing out' do you mean that you plan to let customers with 2 IPs to keep a grandfathered service? Or has that not yet been decided?

Hi there, LucyP. Thanks for posting here for support! You have come to the right place for help. While the second IP address service/feature is in fact in the process of being phased out, I can absolutely check to see if this is something available to you now.
I saw you already sent me a PM, so I will reply to that shortly. Thanks!
