Remote Management turned on. Won't connect from WAN

I manage my daughters internet setup. I have turned on 'Remote Management' and set up a port number on her Comcast modem/router. When I try to access it remotely (using the correct WAN address and port I set up), I get an 'Unable to Connect' message.
