Re: WiFi keeps dropping, needs to be reset multiple times a day.

I have had the exact same problem for months now - I just checked my call history & I've spoke to Comcast 18 times in the last month (from my cell phone alone) each time it takes an insane amount of time to talk to an agent.  I've had the following "fixes" by comcast -  equipment replaced twice, changed my internet name, rebooted a "booster box", unplugged everything for minutes, they've sent out reset signals, & I actually had a tech here during the virus.  Same problem all day, everyday & comcast only can say "everything looks good on our end, we would see a distuption in service"  I absolutely cant stand it anylonger & I've been a customer for over 6 years - thats about done because they refuse to fix the problem.  Good luck, I hope you have better luck than I've had!

For a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
