what was the update on this? a tech came to my house and replace the cable that went underground to a rg11 cable. the tech said my line was bad. so far same issue. i have the netgear c7800 as well.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

my tech came out and he replaced my old rg6 cable to an rg11 cable because the main box was around 100 feet from my modem. its all underground..no poles. he added a splitter to the back of my c7800 modem.
