Re: Intermittent Internet Failure

I'm seeing failures throughout the day, usually 1 to 5 minute loss of connectivity to all devices while the cable modem remains up.
I've tried resetting devices, resetting the modem manually and via the online "help" system, plus checking all the coax connections in my house, and all the other toubleshooting steps Comcast lists.
Of course, the Comcast online "assistant" is worse than useless.

How do we get ahold of people who can actually fix the comcast network (since this appears to be a repeated fault in the upstream hardware) ?

What part of "I've tried resetting devices, resetting the modem manually and via the online "help" system, plus checking all the coax connections in my house, and all the other toubleshooting steps Comcast lists." did you not understand?

Your reply is not helpful, and is only serving to confuse the issue.

How do you want help if you don’t supply information? Don’t you want a second set of eyes in case you miss something or have no idea what the information means. Your list didn’t include checking modem levels or logs

You'll get far in life being snarky with those that are trying to help you with some tips. Have fun !

Please read the last line of the original post.

This does not appear to be an issue with my line or the modem.

Plus I have now heard from neighbors noticing the same recent problem.

And after today's remote reset, I can't even log into the modem to get the levels anymore. (somehow the default name/password are no longer the same old default)
