Paying for gig speed, getting 200-300 mbps
Hello. I have had multiple calls and chats with Xfinity tech support over the last week and also a call to Arris. I recently upgraded my speed from 300mbps to 1,000, but my speed has t increased. My modem is new (Arris SURFboard T25) and is capable of the faster speed. According to Arris my QAM upstream levels should be between 40-45, but I’m only getting 38-40. They recommended asking Xfinity to send a tech to check wiring outside of my home, but No one in tech support will send someone out. I understand the issues with COVID-19, but I am not asking someone to come inside my home. I have been having daily outages and extremely slow speeds. It’s frustrating and I need help.

I am having the same problem installed the Arris T25 with 600mbps internet and only receiving 75 to 180 mbps wired. Hopefully someone will find a fix.

its probably an issue with the modem software or something going on might have to take them to court arris because i repalced mine and im getting it tommrow i was not getting gig aswell i have exact proof that this is the modem that has huge problems the sb8200 i can rock 949.21 but with t25 500 maybe 248 something deff wrong with that modem
