Would there be a rerason why the modem would only have One Upstream channel available? I have timeouts and the Downstream seems to be affected. Contacted Comcast support which was a huge waste of time as they say it is provisioned correctly on their end and escalated to Advanced Support who identifed a signal db level issue and traced to the local area. They have no answer at this point and I'm ready to move on from Comcast.
Noise ingress into the line / a signal impairment can cause that.
What do the modem's signal stats look like ?
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
Also, post any RF signal error log entries.
What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
