Not getting Gigabit speeds with new Gigabit service
I just switched from the 300mbps plan to Gigabit and I am not hitting Gigabit speeds. When I had the 300mbps plan, I had no issue hitting 300-350.
The most I have seen with my Gigabit plan is in the low 700 range. This was tested from Speedtest.net on multiple servers, the speed test on Xfinity's site and also the speed test built directly in my Router, all provided similar results.
I run my own equipment which is a Netgear CM1150V Gigabit supported modem and a Linksys WRT32X. These speeds were tested on multiple PCs in the home on a WIRED connection that are capable of handling these speeds. All cables are good quality cables that can handle Gigabit speeds.
I even tried directly plugged into the modem and still can only get 700-750.
Signal levels from what I can tell look OK when checking through the modem.
I have followed the Troublshooting thread on this site as well and still have the same results.
So what else can be going on here?
