No IP Address

I have 2 networks: Northshore 2.4 for upstairs & Northshore for downstairs. I have 2 routers, 1 on each floor. I can't get any internet connection downstairs but can connect to both networks upstairs. Network settings downstairs says No IP Address. I think the problem must be the downstairs router. I have restarted modem, unplugged and replugged router, Comcast doesn't see any problem. It's a Comcast router but I can't find any information on troubleshooting routers. It has the same lights on as the upstairs router (2 blue, 1 green).

What make/models are the routers?  What are the routers connected to, make/model?

Modem is Comcast. I think the problem has to be the router causing the problem since everything works fine upstairs.

Thank you for responding. The router is Luxul from Comcast. Don't see any model number. I just figured out how to remove the plastic backing that covered the LAN and PoE connections. When I unplug then reconnect I get a connection for a minute then it disappears. In my Network window (iMac) Wi-Fi now says Self-Assigned IP and status says Wi-Fi has the self-assigned IP address...and will not be able to connect to the internet.

So, both routers, upstairs and downstairs are connected to the same modem/gateway?!?!  e.g. what is the downstairs, not working, router connected to?

Downstairs I have an ethernet connetion. Comcast thinks we need a new modem so they're sending one. Hopefully that fixes the problem---in 1 to 5 days. Thanks for your help.
