I specifically ordered the service without hardware so I would not need to bother Comcast during this troubling time. I have no where to turn, all calls end in a dead phone option tree, all chats end in not enough staff message.
I have an approved modem ( SB8200 ). I have singal on the line (it's very dirty, guess thats another call), but the system can't see my modem or whatever their crypic message is supposed to mean. It asks me to call them to finish activation.
How the in God's name do I activate new service and a new modem if they won't anwser the phone and everything says call them?
Call them again but don't tell them it's a tech support issue, say internet billing. I went through this same thing earlier today. I dropped a few F bombs and said operator a couple times ended at someone calling me back.
I did something on the app too which started a text message chat on my phone.
