New Device Connected to my Wifi "Arris TG1682G"

Why is a New Device Connected to my Wifi named "Arris TG1682G"? I have password protect on and when I look at the device details it shows this is an actual router. I do not have wifi extenders, did not authorize the device to connect, and it comes with a "MAC" address.....what is this and why is it able to connect if I have a password protecting my home network?

A recent firmware / advanced security update, so now you see it.

To confirm that it's yours, see if the MAC address is the same on your 1682.

This just happened to me and I’m very concerned. I can’t connect to my work broadband until I know my internet is safe. What the Fudge Xfinity??
