For 2 or 3 months my Moto MB 8600 has been solid with no issues..several times and 2 nights in a row between 2 and 3 AM my modem stops flashing the bottom green light and my asus router shows a loss of internet. After a restart it works fine. Tonight I did a physical reset and hope this fixed the issue. I feel this is a provider issue more than equipment being at the same time of night. I am on the Blast internet plan. I have read about asking xfinity to move the modem to a different channel. Any thoughts?
FWIW, the overnight hours are their window of opportunity for performing network maintenance / upgrades.
