MoCa and Router

A few days ago, a Comcast representative came to my house and informed me that he needed to put a MoCa spliter on my outside Coax line.

Now understanding a little more about MoCa, I wanted to know if I need to enable MoCa on the router (10.x.x.x) in order to take advantage of the service or do I leave it disabled?

Re: MoCa and Router

It was a moca filter and it’s to keep your service in your House and vice versa your neighbor’s service out of your house. You don’t have to do anything, leave your equipment alone
