For over 8 days I've had low wiFi speeds or no WiFi on our iPads and iPhones.
The online asstance has not worked. They all try the same procedures.
I've been on the phone 5 times for over 7 hoursm with xFinity staff doing stuff.
A few times the speed went back up but it then reverts to low speed in less than an hour!
I have the new white modem/router.
This is my 3rd modem.
Ffor a test, does a computer / device hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
With this test, we are trying to isolate this from being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step of troubleshooting before we proceed any further.
