Is anyone utilizing link aggregation with Xfinity gigabit residential service, I have Arris SB8200 modem and wondering if it would even help my speed.

Greetings, @cyberbot! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on the forums. I hope you are having an amazing day. I certainly understand wanting to get the most out of your network. Link Aggregation will certainly provide more bandwidth but you won't see much of a speed increase. I can certainly have a look into seeing if we have a 2nd IP address available in your area. Since you already sent a PM, I will continue to assist you through there.

FWIW, two public IP addresses are not really what LAG (Link Aggregation) is .... Two WAN / public IP addresses It enables the second port on a straight cable modem to be able to connect to the internet. Google LAG for more info..
