Latency and MagicJack

I have had trouble the past two weeks with MagicJack.  I am getting ping of 35ms from comcast, which I didn't think was bad . MJ tech support says  MJ requires maximum latency of 25ms.  This seems a pretty stiff requirement and I have never had a problem before.  Has anyone else VoIP problems with Comcast recently?
