I've been a Comcast subscriber for over 2 years, my game has been lagging all this time. I got tricked into a 2 year contract with blast package, supposed to get 300mbps down, up to 20up. I should be able to play my game while streaming live, with multiple devices screaming throughout the house with minimal to no issues with lag, at least that's what I was told. Here I am 6 months into the contract, I have zero devices other than my gaming console hooked up to the internet service, the console is hardwired with an ethernet cable, I am not even using Wi-Fi. I still lag. I've had three different techs over to the house, still lag. Opted to lease your modem, still lag. Purchased a 2nd brand new game console, still lag, returned it. Purchased a 3rd new game console, still lagging, stuck with this one. I've spent countless hours on the phone with Comcast reps who basically ran me around in circles did not solve my problem. This whole thing has been frustrating beyond belief. There is a problem with the infrastructure outside, the last field technician that was here confirmed it. Comcast has not sent anyone, even though he supposedly put in a work order for maintenance.
I'd guess that with so many out of work due to the pandemic, there is a lot more internet traffic these days and nights. It might be just a temporary issue.
