After a year using the performance starter package, I upgraded to the Performance 100mbps plan. Its been about 24 hours and I haven't seen an increase in my speed. I am using a self provided modem "C3000-100NAS". I have done both a restart, and full reset on the modem. Looking for some insight. Thanks..
What do you get for the upload speed ?
Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the C3000 with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
You may need to upgrade that device to one that has more horsepower. It is limited to only around 100 Mbps down via the WiFi, so that may be a bottleneck with the additional overhead.
Currently directly connected to the modem, and after running a few speedtest with Ookla, I am seeing on average between 25-30 mbps download, and 3-5 mbps upload. Connected wirelessly yields the same results.
O/k try calling 1-800-comcast and ask a rep to completely remove the modem from your account and to "re-provision" it from scratch. Also ask them to confirm that the provisioning and account data in their database is correct and complete and that the correct configuration / bootfile for your subscribed to speed tier is being pushed to the modem. Good luck !
