Internet Issue....Need tech help

Hi,

 

I had Double Play with Blast internet and never had an issue.  Upgraded to Triple Play to consolidate phone as well and was able to get gigabit internet as well for close to same price.  Things worked great for three days and now I have very high packet loss which randomly occurs.  A tech came out and removed a line amplifier that he said I didn't need and replaced it with a splitter to feed two TV boxes and the modem (CM1150V).  All seemed to work well for about 2 hours and now the issue has returned.  I've tried rebooting the modem and the router (Orbi RBR50) several times, but nothing is working.  The high packet loss continues which makes the internet very sluggish and at some points not usable at all.  Any ideas on what else I can try?
