Intermittent WiFi Dropping

Has anyone else been having the WiFi getting dropped on personal computers more often then normal.
This has been happening a lot at random hours over the last 2 weeks to me and I have already tried restarting the router .

Some tips for improving WiFi performance;

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters. Good luck !

None of those worked.

Along with the modem reset .

Calling Comcast is completely useless.

It's been doing this much more then normal so I am kind of wondering if they lost a tower again (this happened to me a couple of years ago when they dropped a tower, then tried to upsell me.

I think it might be time to go back to AT&T as customer service has never been a Comcast strong point.

For a test, does a computer / device hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

With this test, we are trying to isolate this from being either a WiFi-only problem or a problem with the general connection to the Comcast system which would of course affect both. It's a good first step of troubleshooting before we proceed any further.
