Intermittent Outages Throughout Day (SF Bay Area )

Our internet has been running fine for the past two months of shelter-in-place. However in the past week or so, the internet will cutout for a few seconds or minutes throughout the day. This may happen 10-15 times/day and it's quite disruptive.

We had a service representative to our home who tinkered around and said he fixed the issue, but it's not fixed. The only thing we've done differently is that last weekend we downloaded a large amount of data from Dropbox, syncing a new external hd. Is it possible that we exceeded some data limit and are now getting throttled? Additionally, has anyone else noticed frequent outages recently? Thanks!

Warmer/sunnier in SF lately?    Do the issues happen mostly during daytime when sun is incident on one side of the dwelling, maybe the side where the cable-demarc is?    Heat increases the impedance ("resistance") of wires especially when they are oxidized or wet.      Comcast is swapping 100% of old/acquired cable-demarcs across USA - maybe yours is old & degraded and they didn't swap it yet? Btw, to be clear:  Comcast owns the demarcs, they are 100% comcast's responsibility and there should never be a direct charge to the customer to diagnose/fix/upgrade a demarc or any wires outside the home.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ?  Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?
