Inconsistent connectivity
My internet has been degrading for the past 3 weeks and for the last week I lose connection a dozen times per day. Someone came today and replaced the line from the box to the house and said it would fix the issue...it did not. I'm trying to work and I'm just getting a conciliatory pat on the head and told they're working on it. I have had a message for DAYS that they're working in my area and it will be back up as soon as possible. This is not sustainalbe and I am paying for a service that is not being provided. I need help getting my service working or, if that can't be done, then I need help canceling so I can go with another provider.

Are you sure you don't work for Comcast? because all you posted was how to check for outages, and then how to check our equipment, not how we can stop having these outages in the first place. It is not once a month it's everyday, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day.
