I'll be moving in a couple months. I was in the new neighborhood a few days ago, and spoke with an Xfinity customer and she said her speed was very poor. I'm a tech guy, and need fast, reliable internet. I'm happy with my Xfinity speed now, 150 miles from that new neighbor, but would like to find out if her speed issues are real, or maybe due to a slow plan, etc. She wasn't very techy, so I didn't press her for more info.
Is it possible to have an Xfinity field tech visit the box outside her home, and tell me what speed I can expect? We would ne nextdoor neighbors, so her speed, should be my speed.
If it's as bad as she said, then I won't be able to move there, and now's the time to make a change.
