I have also been using the public xfinity network for over 2 years

I have been also using the xfinitywifi for ovwr 2 years and i have never experienced a problem connecting until now. All it says when i try to connect is obtaining ip address amd its like that for days now. When i use to connect it would bring my straight to a sign in page where i would sign in and connect. I even email comcast and talked to costumer service. No response on the email nor did costumer service provide any solutions to the problem. So i started using my aunts wifi and the same thing happens. Then when i step outside just a few feet away it connects perfectly fine. After that i go back inside and it disconnects. I litterally gave up my service and turned my box in and started using my aunts wifi since she shares her device and that isnt the problem either. I been using her sign in since last year and it was fine now all of a sudden this year you just cant connect to the xfinitywifi public. I guess they will start to do something about the problem when they lose more customers. Or maybe they need to get rid of the 5G because obviously it doeant work right. 2.4 G was just fine and there was no need to change the bandwidth. I guess we will see how long they are going to lwt this go on before they start to lose money.

Any chance a neighbor is broadcasting the xfinitywifi SSID?

Nope nothing at Xfinity works. Nor are they giving answers. My aunt even took all the steps. We restarted the box, turn our devices off then back on over 50 times, forgot the network then tried again we even tried using the Xfinitywifi public. When we at the house it just doesnt work which wasnt a problem just last month. I looked on the app to see if it is an outage in the area. She logged in her account and seen our area wasnt affect by the outage. Strangely though we step out on the sidewalk and it works, go back in and it disconnects then say its disabled. When i wasnt at my aunts and at home i was able to use the public wifi now it just doesnt work period. Then they talking about raising prices. I was going to get internet but seeing as this is going on a week i dont think i want internet through these guys. How hard is it to fix a problem? I guess its just about the money whether people get on they wifi or not. Bad way to run business. Sooner than they think it will be alot of people movingbaway from they service. Alot of people are upset paying for something theycant lose. And how is this a forum but tge people dont answer just other costumers? Doesnt make sense really and im not sitting outside just to use wifi sorry but just not happening
