I can't Port Forward correctly

I've been trying to host a Minecraft server to play on with me and my friend, but he can't connect to it. I've tried the port forwarding option , and it told me that the advanced security will block that port, but that i can allow certain ip addresses access for 30 days. however, I can't seem to find a way to give him access. I thought if he attempted to get onto the server it would give me a report of an attempt to get in, but it didn't even register his attempt to get in.

What am i doing wrong?

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature completely as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to be able to whitelist anything;

If and after it connects, you could try re-enabling it and see.

Good luck !
