How do you add a port to port forwarding?

I've been trying to add a port to my port forward since I've had this thing in June and I haven't been able to get any assistance from Xfinity on the issue.

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a work-around for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to be able to whitelist anything;

Thanks but that didn't help.  Still getting the same error and reaching anyone at Xfinity that can help is impossible.

Yes or how do you restore the original admin interface that worked?  Can you download an older version of firmware to get the router to support port forwards again?
