Gigabit speed with xfipods

I have the xfinity gigabit speed tier with unlimited data. I also have Xfinity home with six cameras. I have connection issues from time to time with the cameras and during the last service call the tech informed me that I would need the xf I pods for better coverage. I got the six pack of xf I pods, hooked them up and all seemed fine except my speeds crashed to between 100 and 175 megs. After further review the pods only have a throughput of 200 megs. My question is how do I retain my Gigabit coverage with the xfi pod mesh network only 200 megs max?

P.S. The network Has to have the same network name as the pods.

I found out about the xFi pods speed issue before I purchased them.

I chose the Orbi mesh system instead; my Speedtest wifi speed is 528 down and 43 up with my iPhone11 sitting next to my XB6/Orbi.

Re: Gigabit speed with xfipods

I have the Orbi system as well but number one the xfinity cameras only connect to the xfinity modem through a secure channel which is where the original problem started and number two why pay for Gigabit speeds through Xfinity only to be reduced to 200 megs on the Xfinity  network. I too get outstanding speeds on my ORBITRON network but I would like some of my devices to use the XFINITY side if that makes any sense.
