Gigabit Internet- Huge amounts of packet loss starting 48 hours ago
My internet has had significant packet loss for the last 48 hours. When I run a ping in a shell at least 1 in every 20 times out.
I had a tech come by yesterday. He swapped out the modem and even ran a fresh line right from the pole. The packet loss was still significant.
Another tech came by in the afternoon and checked the poles. He said that he made a few adjustments that should fix the issue and then left to check on another location. Whatever changes were made did not have any effect on the packet loss.
At this point my gigabit internet is useless. Does anyone have any ideas as far as other options to try and troubleshoot?

Here is an example of the ping timeouts.
What is unusual about this is that in the past I would notice ping latency before the hitting timeouts.
Here I am seeing timeouts interspersed with healthy pings.
