I just switched to Xfinity after recommendations from neighbors and am quite disappointed at inconsistency of the internet service. My family gets kicked off of internet several times a day and we have to restart the gateway several times a week. When I call customer support after finally getting to speak with a person I'm told to call when it's happening. But when it happens my concern is getting back into my meeting or completing the task I'm trying to work on when it kicked me off. My family has spent so much money to ensure that the problem was not on our end (new equipment, extender, etc) and still, we are getting kicked off DAILY. At this point I'm wondering why I switched to Xfinity in the first place. How can this issue be fixed, permanently?
For a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
