Geolocation issues. It says im in VIRGINIA when I am in PENNSYLVANIA all of a sudden

I do not know what is going on here.  I got a new gateway from Xfinity a month ago, no issues.  I am in Pennsylvania.  About a week ago I started having internet issues, gateway resetting, disconnects, bad connections.  Also, it now says I am located in VIRGINIA and not PENNSYLVANIA when I use the WhatIsMyIP site.  I play poker on Pokerstars PA, where you need to be in PA.  It will not let me on now, they say I am located in Virginia, when I am NOT.  This started a few days ago when my router reset.  What is going on??  How can I fix this??  The Geolocation has me in the wrong state, and nobody from Comcast has a clue so far how to help.  They just told me to tell Pokerstars to look at it, but it is NOT just them!  Why does the geolocation have me in the wrong state and how do I fix it???  It is really frustrating, and I am about to leave for FIOS.

You likely recently received a new / different WAN (public) IP address assignment to your connection from their DHCP server / IP address pool, and the rDNS / geolocation data that is associated with it is now incorrect for you as it previously belonged to someone else that lived in that area. Comcast shuffles blocks of IP addresses around the country all the time. ISP's don't correct this. A third party service does. Unfortunately, this is typically a *back-burner* thing to get corrected. The only thing that you can do is to report it. You can try this;

Wait for the geolocation provider to approve your request. If your request is approved, the amount of time it takes to see the correction varies by provider. The average is a month or more.
