Ethernet connect a printer - HELP - Xfi upgrade and now printer doesn't seem to be online anymore

I just upraded to the Xfi gigabit router. My printer has always been directly connected by ethernet to the router. It has a static IP address (192.168.001.103) which I can assign as needed. NOW, since the upgrade, the printer can no longer be found on the network. QUESTION - does the xfi gigabit router support direct ethernet connections of printers via the router? Is there a manual or some manner to set up the router or printer (new IP address?) that I should be aware of? PLEASE HELP.
