I have been on the phone with Xfinity and Amazon for the last two days trying to get this issue resolved with no resolution in sight. All either one of them will say is the problem is not on our end so call the other one about the problem. The echo dot will try to connect but it just can't seem to make the connection but I don't have any problem getting any other devices to connect to the wi-fi and the echo dot has no problem connecting to other wi-fi's like the hot spot on my cell phone. Does anyone know a fix for this issue????
Make sure u have the same WiFi band connected.. or manually do it wait for Orange light then go to WiFi on phone and connect to Amazon-CTL network and follow steps on Amazon Alexa app on phone.. that's an open network so don't leave in auto connect and make sure u forget network after you connect to your actual home network..!
