Dropped Connections

Been having this issue with a dropped signal and then signal reconnects. Looked at logs. I have a Netgear C3000 modem. Below are the log file samples. Any ideas?

Re: Dropped Connections

Please also post the modem's signal status. Post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

Is this with a WiFi connection ?

yes....modem/wifi combo

Re: Dropped Connections

We need to know if this is via a WiFi connection or a hardwired connection, not just that you are using a combo device...  And how about posting the signal stats as requested ?

Re: Dropped Connections

It is a wifi connection. Where do I find the stats you need, I had poted the event logs....is it found somewhere in the router admin log in area?

Re: Dropped Connections

O/k, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

And poke around in the same area(s) where you got the error log entries and you should be able to find the signal stats numbers.

Re: Dropped Connections

The WiFi strength is not what was requested.
