I just swapped out my gigabit modems (the last one howled like a jet sitting on the tarmac) and while the new one has been officially set up and by all indications online it's good to go, the light is still flashing white. Constantly.
Speeds are subpar as well. At least 200mbps less than the howling one. FYI -- It's the TECHNICOLOR CGM4140COM for Performance Plus Internet / Download speeds up to 1000 Mbps.
It's my understanding that flashing white indicates that the modem is still in setup mode with limited usability. What's going on and how do I get it to complete it's setup cycle?
