Constant internet problems
I’ve never in my life been given such run arounds as Xfinity gives me. Connection issues have been unreal in the last few months and Currently the internet is disconnecting between 11:00 & 11:30 everyday. Every time I call I get told one of the following: the modem isn’t plugged into the correct outlet, my modem isn’t compatible, something is wrong with the cables, my modem wasn’t scanned for internet, etc. The first modem was an Xfinity gateway that I had to send back after one year, the second was a backup arris until I received the new Xfinity gateway, the third being the Xfinity gateway (which they told me they didn’t scan for internet), and I’m currently using the backup arris because they’re sending me another gateway. I’ve been with Xfinity going on 3 years; first year was great, second more hassle, going on the third it’s terrible! The internet itself is great, when it works. It’s the keeping it connected that’s become a real problem. I’m really understanding, but I work from home now and I cannot keep losing my connection. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Start with the modem's signal stats. Perhaps they already are, or they are close to being out of spec and intermittently they go completely of spec. Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
Is this a WiFi connection ?
