Connecting Canon TR8520 Wireless Printer

Hi,

I just picked up a Canon Pixma TR8520 printer and am having troble connecting it to my wireless network.  The gateway is a Comcast Arris TG1682G.  Actually I have installed the printer and I can see it but when I try to print something it gets an error and fails.  Does this Gateway allow wireless printing?

Thanks

Yes.

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature and see;

I got it to work. I decided to go to Comcast and update my gateway.  I had no trouble connecting the printer with the new gateway.

Hope that it holds up for you. Same thing may happen again if the new firmware update with the Advanced Security feature gets loaded in if it hasn't yet. Good luck !
