Comcast Internet Speed about 1/0th of Advertised speed in my plan

Download Speed - 30.8 Mbps

Upload speed - 10.5 Mbps

Latency - 27 ms

Reached out to Comcast Support over chat who ran onlien diagnostics and sent a reset signal to my router. But, speed is still around 25-30 Mbps mark.

 

 

I am on a 300 Mbps plan and my modem supports speeds upto 340 Mbps.

I am pluggign my PC directly to the modem through a cable for speed test but still speed is slow.

What is the exact make and model number of your "modem" ?

Same thing happened here they even sent out a technician. He blamed it on the splitter and changed the splitter but that did not help my speed I was getting 29 megabits on a 200 megabit plan. My streaming was fine at the 29 megabits so I just switched to their 25 megabit plan and I still get 29 megabits and still able to stream quite well and no longer was spending three times the money. However it's just me here in only one thing is being used at a time.
