I have a Netgear CM1150V which works all well until recenlty. For the past 4 days, the connection gets stuck at midnight but would revert to normal speed after a reset. I find this peculiar since it happens only around midnight 12:10 am for the past 4 days.
The repeatiblity makes me think perhaps it's something being run at the Comcast center at midnight which cause the Netgear to fail.
Does anyone has similar experience? Thank you.
I am thinking there maybe some maintainence work running at Comcast at around midnight and causes it to stuck, but I am not sure how to test such things.
That's indeed possible as the overnight hours are their window of opportunity for network maintenance / upgrades.
What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
