Buffalo AC1900 and Motorola SB6141 not achieving 200MBPs

I have an AC1900 router from Buffalo and an Arris Sufboard 6141 and I'm getting around 90megs down. Has anyone experienced this and what do I need to do? Both devices are compatible with the speed I've just signed up for, 200megs down. FWIW I am getting around 11-12 up.

Thanks, Andrew. I did not. Let me clarify.

Comcast > SB6141 > Buffalo AC1900 > AppleTV (Ookla Speedtest).

I have also attempted a speed test from a AC1900 > PC using the Xfinity speed test as well as AC1900 >•) iPhone using the Xfinity speed test.

Will drop off VPN and try my work laptop using the Xfinity speed test.

Are you testing with a device hardwired into your modem? That’s the most reliable and does that device have the ability to go over 100? You don’t say how you achieve the speed test

I just tested a direct connection to the modem and I got over 220mbps down.

Any tips/pointers on how to get the modem up to speed? The current MTU is at 1500 but that's not going to help (AFAIK) as that's for packet fragmentation, IIRC.

The modem is up to speed, it’s your router that seems like the problem. Maybe a factory reset?

I was hoping you weren't going to say that.

Your probably going to have to figure it out with Netgear support. You’ve proved your modem is getting the speed it should. That’s where Comcast’s troubleshooting will end if you try customer service

I factory reset the router and I'm still only getting 80-95Mbps.
