Apple Screen Share problems with xFI Pods

I am having this weird problem and am looking for suggestions.

I am trying to run Apple Screen Share between two Macs in my home. It does not work if the two machines are connected to differnt xFi Pods (I get an error connecting). But it does work if both Mac  are on the same Pod or if the client Mac (where I will initiate the screen session) is connected to the Gateway (and the other Mac is still on the Pod).

Any ideas? Is there a setting in the Gateway that may be impacting this?
