Additional IP Address

Greetings,

I am trying to get an additional IP addresses added to my residential account. I am having an issue similar to what a user described here. I have a NETGEAR CM1200 which has several ports; supporting multiple IPs. I have followed the actionable guidance outlined in the responses to the previously linked forum posts, but that same post as well as others seems to indicate that what is found in my area's rate card is not 100% conducive to what is actually available/what can be done.

How can I go about getting mores IPs on my current residential account?

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Greetings, @DareMor! I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here on the forums. I hope you are having an amazing day! I can certainly have a look into the account to see if we are offering the 2nd residential IP in your area. Since you already sent a PM, I will continue to assist you through there.

Hello,

I have the same question, how could I check if multiple IP support is present for my location?

Please let me know.

Thank you!

First, check the "Rate Card" for your local area to see if that feature is even available anymore. Seems that it is being phased out;

It's a PDF.

Scroll down to "Xfinity Internet" and look for "Additional IP Addresses".

If nothing is listed then it's likely to have been discontinued in your local market area.
