Activation
xfinity is not allowing my device to be activated. I get the error message of "sorry that didn't go as planned" on my account I can see my modem as a device and when I trouble shoot is says error (using my own modem thay is xfinity approved). This is becoming a really frustrating thing.

Is it a brand new out of the box manufacturer's retail modem or a second hand one ?
