93 Mbps max download with a 200Mpbs download package.

I have the 200 Mbps package but my max download is only 93mbps. I have spoken with xfinity representatives multiple times and they are not able to help. They run tests but on their end it shows my download speed is 200+. I understand not wanting to send out technicians right now because of covid-19, but I am paying for speeds that I am not getting. If this isn't fixed by the time my bill is done I will not pay, and will go with another provider, but I am still using my free time to try and fix this issue. So any help is appreciated.

I found out the issue. It turns out the TP-Link Safestream Multi WAN Router I purchased 4 years ago and have been using ever since is only capable of a maximum of 100 MBps. So now I'm going to purchase an ethernet router with a higher connection capability and that should fix the issue.

It was my fault the entire time. Sorry comcast!

Thanks for the response. I tried those things and they did not work. I unplugged my modem and even the coaxial cable to reset it. My power levels all look good, all between -10 and +10. I have a technician coming tomorrow so maybe they will be able to fix it.

So the technician came over and it turns out my speeds are fine, but for some reason my desktop is only getting 93 Mbps even though it's connected via an ethernet cable. The signal outside my home is clear and my phone suddenly displays the right speeds. I don't know exactly where to start troubleshooting, but I'm going to go ahead and purchase a new ethernet cable and hope that fixes it.

Does the desktop's NIC / network adapter have a 10/100/1000-Gigabit ethernet port ?
