5.0 no longer broadcasting
I've lost my 5.0 wireless on my new Xfinity modem/router. I can't see it when I log into the modem/router, how do I get it back? I'm now just on 2.4.

my xFi app doesn't have those options in the link you sent.
And I don't want to change my WiFi name and password.

Have you first tried power-cycling / re-starting the device ? No joy ? Try hard resetting the device to factory defaults by pressing and holding in the recessed reset button on the rear for 30 seconds. This can sometimes clear up some weird behavior issues. You will lose any customized settings, and they will need to be re-configured from scratch if you do the latter.

That link was not just for changing passwords but it will tell you if your networks are combined or not

I've done all the rebootin/etc. The only thing I don't want to do, or shouldn't have to do is to do a factory reset. But.....if I have to, then I have to.
Roomate is in that room so I won'tbe able to do a factory reset until this weekend.
Thought there would be an easier solution.

Thanks but that link goes to a walkthrough that isn't the same as what I see when I go through the instructions, must be an old link?
I'm going to do a facotry reset this weekend. If that doesn't work I'm going to have a tech come out and either replace the modem or have them try to fix it.
