We have been paying for 1Gbps internet with Xfinity for nearly 2 years. During this time we have never been able to get anything but half of that. Numerous tech calls and router replacements and two techs that have “opened” tickets to address the issue upstream and still no one calls or follows up. No resolution either. If you offer a service in an area then you should have the infrastructure to deliver it otherwise you should only sell products that can be delivered. Doing otherwise is false advertisement that forces customers to endure the pain of poor planning and ongoing maintenance for your “industry leading internet”. The only consistent solution that your company offers is to reboot my modem. Funny, not sure how that can possibly resolve infrastructure issues on your network. Buyers beware.
