xfi pods

  • xfi pods not working. Haven't been able to get them to work. Downloaded the xfi app and tried to connect my device to pod. Keep getting the message "Let's try that again. Sorry, we ran into a problem. Please try again or go back to the previous screen." Was on the phone with Xfinity for over 2 hours earlier, spoke with multiple people, no resolution. Was told I will get a call back by someone who knows more about these devices (pods). That was over 6 hours ago and I have not received a call. Would someone please help? I tried the online xfinity assistant and received the response "Sorry. I would love to help you out, but I am a new bot and still learning. I have trouble understanding long questions."

You can't "connect your device to a pod" - the pods connect themselves the router and the devices connect themselves to either the router or a pod depending on which they find best. The router and the pods together equal one network to connect to.

 

Are your pods connected to the router? If the little light on them is flashing, they are not connected. If not connected, following the install procedure in the instruction book or on the xFi app go to More > Add a Device > Xfinity Device > xFi Pods.
