changing channels of my 2.4 and 5 GHz networks

I have seen this question asked but not completly answered . . .

When you have an Xfi Mesh network (Xfi Gateway and Pods) can I change the channel management option from Manual to Automatic or if in Manual mode change the actual channel?

I am seeing in the router admin tool (not the Xfi app) that these options, Channel Mode and Channel selection are not accessible.

I followed Comcast instructions and named both the 2.4  and 5 GHz networks the same, do I have to break the mesh and rename one of the networks so they are diffrent to access the channel settings?

There is a note in some documents that states when Pods are connected to the Gateway then the channel management is automatic, but I do not think this is the case.  I have used a Wifi Analyser and it always show the 2.4 GHz channel as 1 and the 5 GHz channel as 157, these are the most common channels and the same channels that all of my nieghbors are on.

Any input or direction would be appreciated.

No. You can't change it.
