I recently moved from OR to WA. At first, my modem from OR worked in WA and so did XFi, but they just had me exchange modems and “upgraded” my service to the same speed (100mbps) but a lower price. Now XFi says I need to upgrade to use the app, and the tech I called says XFi only works for speeds of 300mbps and up. Now I can no longer control access to my WiFi, change the name/password, or remotely restart my modem without calling a tech. What’s going on?
