Turnoff Wifi?

Hi All,  I just had gigabit service installed and noticed that they are running the wifi on the modem.  I think I do not need this up since I go from the modem to my Netgear Nighthawk router.  Can I shut the modem wifi off somehow?

That's what I found also, but that turns off MoCA also, I think?  Not sure I want to do that given it shows that i have 4 items connected to MoCA.

I do have 1 wireless box, but thought it was hooked to my wireless network, maybe it is on the xfinity wireless....

Do you use X1 wireless boxes? That’s the only thing that uses moca through the gateway. Unless you need moca on

The gateway uses moca to talk to your main box and then connects to the wireless box through Wi-Fi. So unless you change the wireless box to a wired cable box or use a Roku and the Xfinity Stream app, you cant change it to bridge mode
